THE PLASTCOM STORY

PLASTCOM srl was founded on 1st January 2002 after the operational remodelling of AFE spa, leaving it free to use the know-how and the experience accumulated in the use of plastic materials for the manufacture of plastic bottles for the food packaging industry.

Products such as fresh and sterilized milk, yoghurt, natural and carbonated mineral water, soft drinks and oil. The polymers used are HDPE (high density Polyethylene,) PVC (Polyvinylcloride,) PET (Polyethylene-terephtalate,) and PEN (Polyethylene-naphthanate).

AFE had planned and built different types of systems for the production of bottles and bottling for various food products in this list:

• Fresh milk in HDPE bottles
  
• Sterilized milk in triple layer co-extruded HDPE bottles
  
• Natural, flat mineral water in PVC BOTTLES
  
• Food oils

Currently PVC is used for small and medium-sized bottles for cosmetics, personal hygiene products, detergents and pharmaceuticals.

PLAST.COM is active is the following two operational areas which are illustrated in the specific pages concerning them:

• Sales of bottle grade PET granules and PVC for the manufacture of bottles and flasks for the food production, cosmetic and personal hygiene sectors.
  
• Planning line production systems for PET, PVC and HDPE bottle manufacturing and bottling, capping, labelling and packaging for transport and distribution.
